All the way from the Golden Gate Bridge to Camp Ida Smith, our Girl Scouts are able to experience the culture, history, and diversity of a big city, with easy access to nature and outdoors.
Our team of Service Unit volunteers have blazed trails for current and future generations of Girl Scouts across the country. From Golden Gate Bridging to marching in annual Gay Pride Parades across the nation, we're proud to say it started here!
We offer our troops the best of Girl Scout traditions through a wide variety of program events, award earning opportunities, a bustling customer base for product sales, and endless opportunities to discover, connect, and take action in our community to make the world a better place.

We are inspired by the special opportunities San Francisco has to offer. Through the years we have created a unique Girl Scout experience based on tradition and mixed with the personalities of our members, and the city we all love.
Landmark Annual Events - we offer a robust schedule of program events annually for our troops ranging from GSAMs, Badge Days, Camporees, Parades, Community Service and more.
Camp Ida Smith - a GSNorcal campsite in San Francisco, lovingly renovated and maintained by the Camp Ida Smith Committee.
Diamond Troop Program - Annual recognition for Troops that provide their girls opportunities in all the best elements of what the Girl Scout program has to offer.
Older Girl Interest Group - We provide girl-led experiences for every 'OG' to find a place where their individual interests can be met beyond the troop.

Product Sales - San Francisco product sales uplift the entire council's annual budget. The Service Unit bonus helps fund scholarships and local programs
Religious Award Program - We offer a religious recognition program in conjunction with national religious organizations to encourage girls to learn more about, and grow stronger in, their chosen faith
Service to Girl Scouts and Service to our Community - Connect with local organizations which our troops actively volunteer and take action with, to help make the world a better place.
