SF Girl Scouts Annual Events
Our Service Unit volunteers and troops are inspired by the special opportunities San Francisco has to offer. Through the years we have created a unique Girl Scout experience based on tradition and mixed with the expertise of our members, and the personality of the city we all love.
We offer a robust schedule of program events annually for our troops ranging from GSAMs, Badge Days, Camporees, Parades, Community Service and more.
Check out our SFSU Program & Events Calendar to join us at our next event, or go to GS Norcal Events to find other opportunities organized by Council.

Monthly Girl Scout Adult Meetings (GSAMs)
We hold monthly Girl Scout Adult Meetings (GSAMs) for our leader community throughout the troop year Sept - May for adult learning, knowledge share among troops, and community building. New leaders are invited to join 30 minutes prior to GSAM for a special ‘New Leader Meet-up Q&A’ session preceding every GSAM.

Fall & Spring Badge Days
Badge earning is at the center of the Girl Scout experience, playing a key role in exploration, learning, and skill building. Our Service Unit organizes badge days twice a year, open to all program levels.

Fall & Spring Camporee
Twice a year our outdoor experts organize a weekend of outdoor skills, traditions and sisterhood, to provide age-appropriate experiences per the Girl Scouts Outdoor Progression. Camporees are held every Fall and Spring at the various Girl Scout camps in Northern California.

Holiday Ice Skating Party & Spring Swim Party
Kick-off the holidays with us at an Ice Skating party at Yerba Buena Ice Rink for Scouts, tagalongs, friends, and families. Then we dive into the spring season with a Scouts-only Swim Party for all program levels.

Cookie Rally
Our annual cookie season kick-off is fun for Cookie Rookies, Super Sellers and everyone in between! Join us for badge earning, cookie tasting, and learning the 5 Skills that the product sale program teaches Girl Scouts: Goal Setting, Decision Making, Money Management, People Skills, and Business Ethics.

In the Spotlight
Throughout the year, with the San Francisco skyline as our backdrop, our Girl Scout spirit shines bright as we march, sing, and celebrate in the many Parades, Festivals, and Community Events that our city has to offer.

Girl Scout Sunday
San Francisco Girl Scouts celebrate and kick-off Girl Scout Week with Girl Scout Sunday annually at the Presidio's Interfaith Chapel. This annual SF Service Unit event also recognizes Girl Scouts who have earned a Religious Recognition Award and/or My Promise, My Faith pin. Learn more about our Religious Recognition Program here.

Girl Recognition
To close-out the Girl Scout Troop Year, the Service Unit holds a Girl Recognition Event to celebrate special achievements and the highest awards earned at every program level.
